Gameplay
Players start with 10.000 in cash and take turns drawing a card from both the asset- and the event deck. At the start of each round, players can also choose to buy a call or put option, making some events very profitable.
On a turn players get an opportunity to buy the asset and after this an event happens which can either make them earn money or cost money, but if they don't own the asset that particular event is all about, nothing happens at all, and the next player starts their turn.
Players continue taking turns until the event deck is empty. After this they count the value of all their assets plus half the amount of cash that's still there. The one with the most money may call themselves the greatest investor!
Crypto Expansion
This expansion adds more assets and events from the cryptospace, from mining machines to Ethereum.
Thoughts
Not knowing that much about investing interested me to find out what all the fuzz is about by playing this game.
The graphics are simple and give the game an accessible vibe. The rules are very easy to learn and it's exhilarating to see what happens with the investments made during the course of the game.
Sometimes I noticed I lost my focus on the fact we were investing, it can be a really simplified way of looking at it. I'd say this is both a weakness and a strength for this game.
If you're starting to learn about investing, this game is a wonderful way of touching the subject for the first time and learning some fun facts while your at it!
A copy of this game was provided to me by Tom Brouwers & Thomas Brussen for the purpose of writing this review. My opinion however remains my own.
