Gameplay
🍒 Harvest Island is a 2-4 player cardgame in which you plant and harvest fruits to gain sweet victory points!
🍏 On your turn you can choose to either cultivate or harvest. When cultivating, you plant two cards and gain two new ones. When harvesting, you may harvest all fields that contain 3 or more fuitcards.
🍇 How many you harvest is tracked on the main board. If you have harvested most you gain 8 VP for endgame scoring. Fruit cards contain points in the corner of the cards.
🍑 Each season contains different fruits to plant, so you have to choose wisely which seeds you plant!
🍋 When the four seasondecks are empty, game ends and scoring begins! Player with the most victory points wins the game.
Thoughts
🍓 This is such a lovely game! The artwork is beautiful, the gameplay is relaxing and you can really choose the way you want to play it. You can play it intuitive, but you can also try to calculate ahead a bit.
🍌 This is a perfect game to play out in the garden on a sunny day. I highly recommend this game!
