new rules, scenarios and units.

➖ 4 new North Africa Scenarios
➖ Vehicles/specialists for Normandy, mines/assault
aircraft for North Africa
Thoughts
Note: this expansion is tested with the North Africa
base game. I played 6 games with the new solitaire bot
and have not played any of the new scenarios or the
new units as of yet. I will post my review about this
later.
👍 The gameplay of the solobot is very solid and
tailormade for each separate scenario, which makes it
a delight to play. The AI is not particularly ‘smart’ in its
moves but in the end it turns out to always come
together to an interesting battle, which is difficult to win
in normal mode for me!
👍 There is a lot of new content for both earlier
released games. The new Units seem very cool (I’ll
write more about this when I have played with them),
and I can’t wait to get to the later scenarios and try
them out! I'm especially excited about the aircraft!
👍 You dont need the expansion in order to play the 4
-player mode
👍 The box holds everything from both base games
AND the reinforcements content
❌ The bot is quite difficult in normal mode, but in easy
mode I’m able to win!
❌ Each solo game needs to be set-up with different
solocards stating the ruleset for the units of that
particular scenario. This is quite some work. It is
however quite straightforward to handle the bot.
A copy of this game was provided to me by Osprey Games for the purpose of writing this review. My opinion however remains my own.
