Gameplay

In this game, you are a rat colony that goes about digging rooms, building beds and looking around the house for cool rewards!

Players do this by taking turns to place one of the three rat bosses on the wheel at a main action on a bonus action square.

The idea is that the main action to be performed is as strong as the number of workers standing in that box.

The 6 main actions are:

- Obtaining cards

- Performing actions in the house

- Obtaining wood

- Obtaining metal

- Digging a room

- Building a bed (and unlocking workers!)

The game gives points in many different ways, the unlocked rooms, the beds built, the cards played, goals achieved, etc.

After 5 rounds, tracked by a special round tile (which can also be built in the rooms), the game ends and points are calculated!

Thoughts

I went from ignorant last year Spiel, to curious to gee why haven't I seen this! This game is really fan-tas-tic! The theme is very cute, with those little rooms and beds, lovely artwork too. Highly recommended this!

👍 Clear rules (very nice that @despellenfriends' names were used in the explanation!)

👍 Very nicely illustrated and fun components!

👍 Plays smoothly, nice rewarding turns

➖ The roundel wheel has to be assembled each game. However, it is a nice one!
