Gameplay

In this exciting flip and write game you are a cartographer, mapping the area for queen Gimnax. You do so by flipping cards and drawing one of the shown tetrislike forms onto your sheet of land for 4 seasons. Every season has its own way of scoring points, which you score immediately when the season ends. But watch out! You can also encounter vicious monsters that try to sabotage you! In the end you add up all points received during the four seasons and the player with the most points wins!

Thoughts

I have already had so much fun playing this game! Not only with the physical game, but also in the app, where a challenge is introduced at the start of each week. Really nice to compete with your friends for the high score!

I find Cartographers to have a real solid gameplay, with a lot of replayability because of the different goal cards and the fun mini expansion that comes with the game.

If you are a fan of flip-and-write games, this one is a gem you would really appreciate!
